ENGINE DETAIL
************************************************************************************************************************
I bought what dress up pieces I could that were available for the v-6s. Wire looms are universal and easy to get in an array of colors! The silicone hoses are a simple matter as well. But now I'm going one step further... we are going to be hiding all the wires, hoses, and lines! Its a mess right now though!

But in the end the bay will be a clean gloss black with candy apple red engine, polished, and chromed accents. The most noticible thing will be the minimal visible lines of any kind running thru the bay. But its tricky when you have to keep the car emissions legal, but we are going to give it a try!

Dress up parts
********************************
Now the other stuff, believe me it was a chore to get some of these pieces for this car. The 2.8, 3.1, 3.4 engines are typically not listed for the typical engine dress ups. You just have to know what crosses over b/w v-8s and v-6s. On my engine detailing site I have listed the items I have, with part numbers.
For those pieces w/o an aftermarket polished or chromed alternative, it was up to me. As Joe and I went along, everything that came apart or was replaced was upgraded.
The parts were either painted,

polished or

chromed while they were off.

All the polishing & painting was hand done by Joe and I.

****NOTE:****
These pictures were taken BEFORE the major makeover!
Since I have SunCoast's RAM Air hood, I converted over to a true RAM Air intake with K&N Filter.

Here some shots of the 3.4L in the car & the Truleo intake.

Now some massive changes to the look of my bay is underway! Keep checking back... it will be VERY impressive!
************************************************************************************************************************
Well, "it looks pretty" you say, but what have I done as far as engine performance upgrades?
Well, check the next page!
