Gearbox:
The car is fitted with an MC6, four-speed single-rail synchromesh manual gearbox. These boxes are also known as a Philipino Gearbox or a Torquemaster. It has a cable-operated single dry plate clutch.
Unlike the other gearboxes that Holden put behind their motors in the early days, these gearboxes have a full one-piece transmission case, a full bellhousing, and a completely internal shifting mechanism. They are a very underrated gearbox
All I've done to my gearbox from the bellhousing back is cleaned it all and changed the oil; the synchros are quite worn but not enough to justify a rebuild.
When it was all out of the car, I flushed out and re-lubricated my clutch cable, cleaned and greased up the pedal mechanism, input shaft, spigot bush, clutch fork pivot etc

Clutch:
The clutch in my car was on its way out when I pulled it all apart, but the flywheel and spigot bush were fine. As I like slamming gears, I opted for a more heavy duty clutch, but didn't have a fortune to spend. I purchased a Valeo Heavy Duty clutch kit off eBay. This came with a replacement throwout bearing, clutch plate and a pressure plate with increased clamping pressure. This clutch has a more rapid take-up, and requires slightly more force through the pedal, which I don't mind at all. I'm very happy with the unit.

Shifter:
The shifter for my gearbox was ridiculously long, heavy and worn-out. I found another and got to work on it. I removed the dampening sheath and realised I could just use the bottom section of the shaft. I cut a thread on there and machined up an alloy knob that would suit the thread and my taste.

I then cleaned every component, de-burred and decked some vital surfaces, and assembled it with suitable grease, with a few improvement such as higher return spring pressure, better clips and cable ties in appropriate places. After this work, the shifter no longer 'slopped' over to the side when out of gear, there was more feedback, and the shifting was far more precise.

Tailshaft:
The tailshaft is a standard 6cyl unit, all I have done is replaced the universal joints.
Differential:
The diff is a 'Fine' 23 Spline 3.55:1 Open GM-H Banjo. I plan on upgrading this
