Wheels & Tyres:

I bought this set of wheels for $50. 2x13x7" and 2x13x8" widened chromed Torana stockies. They were done by ROH probably 20 years ago but the chrome still polishes up reasonably. The offset is perfect for filling the guards of an unflared Torana with original running gear dimensions, I just had to roll the guard lips to make them fit, and make sure that I didn't lower the car too far!

Covered in brake dust and other shit, this is what they looked like when they arrived. I cleaned them up and compared it to what I had on the car at the time

I tracked down some oldschool Bridgestoke SF-340 Eagers, in 205 and 225 width for the front and rear respectively, and had them fitted with the white text on the outside.

Suspension:

Front end of the car runs lowered springs, (stiffer, and about 2" lower than standard) with ACDelco shock absorbers

Before & After:

Rear end of the car runs Commodore IRS springs with the centres cut out to fit around the bump stops, these are about 2" lower than standard, and much stiffer to stop the fat tyres hitting the guards (was a nightmare with the soft standard springs), and Monroe gas shocks.

The car came with no swaybar fitted to the front, but I had a spare front end with one. Covered in road grime and had some stuffed bushes, cleaned it up and replaced the bushes:

hey thanks for the rating. im glad you like the Nova, and your right, it does have a pretty wicked stance when its rollin down the street. most guys these days seem to put a larger rim with less tire size, or they tub it completely so the tires are tucked under so you cant really see much of them. I wanted to even raise the rear end another inch or so but I dont have the money for it right now. your cars pretty sweet too. it'd be cool to see a chevy small block in that thing, as im sure you would be able to rip the tires loose in every gear. keep up the hard work.
