The Torana came with a tired old interior that wasn't too flash... here's what I did with it:

Removing the crappy seatcovers revealed torn cream vinyl seats. The woodgrain dash wasn't really what I was into either. I went to the wreckers (back when the prices were still reasonable) and bought a black grain replacement dash and ashtray and an LH SL/R instrument cluster:

AUTOTECNICA leather-wrapped steering wheel and boss kit, just needed the centre painted and a decent horn-button fitted:

New manual shifter boot & surround with the collet I machined up, installed into restored console, ready to be bolted into the car:

Retrimmed Torana bucket seats with emphasized side bulges for lateral retention (making it more like a sports/race seat):

After the paint was applied, I threw in some new black carpet and matching velour headlining:

In addition to the headlining, I installed retrimmed sunvisors and velour trim pieces around the rear wheel tubs, A and B pillars, and freshly carpetted kick panels & parcel shelf. A better set of seatbelts were put in to complement the unfaded trim too. I'm really happy with how the interior came out

hey thanks for the rating. im glad you like the Nova, and your right, it does have a pretty wicked stance when its rollin down the street. most guys these days seem to put a larger rim with less tire size, or they tub it completely so the tires are tucked under so you cant really see much of them. I wanted to even raise the rear end another inch or so but I dont have the money for it right now. your cars pretty sweet too. it'd be cool to see a chevy small block in that thing, as im sure you would be able to rip the tires loose in every gear. keep up the hard work.
