My new project, a 1970 Z28
Found this car online in a for sale section, thought the price was a misprint. Turned out to be a steal! Car is original paint, still has the factory interior in it, with the 150 mph speedo and 7500 rpm tach. Plans are for a set of late model buckets, late model console, and a carbon fiber dash insert with Autometer gauges.
I also have all the power accesories to go into the car.
First pic I got of the car.. kinda rough, right? The owner had gotten it, along with two other cars, to use for parts. But his wife told him to clean up the yard, so his loss is my gain!
The reason it sat so high in the rear, is because someone got the 12-bolt out of it, and stuck a 10-bolt back in, under the springs. Oh, well! Cleans up pretty nice, right? Those are some 17" rims that I will be using.. they are 17 x 8 Centerline Aztecs.. very nice!
My fiberglass cowl hood. I'll be replacing the fenders, both quarters, the back panel, and trunk floor. Pretty much decided to go back with gold since it was the original color, but it will be a slightly different shade. It will be a metallic gold off a (gasp!) 2000 Mustang. Stock black Z-28 strips will be put back on.

Project is on the back burner until I finish a Vega for a friend, so I will continue to gather parts as budget permits.
New quarters, tail panel, trunk floor, drivers floor pan, front fender.. yada yada yada!! Anyone want to pitch in to help???!!!
