This is where we put all the things that piss us off, or make us smile, or are just plain funny!

Last weekend we installed some new wheels and studs on the 93, these are Moroso 3" x 1/2" studs... no one in town had the correct, Weld lug nuts, so we got some Mr. Gasket brand that were "made the same". Look at the pics...

As you can see, they are real well made, the hole was drilled off-center so badly, it wouldn't even tighten down in the wheel, and then it bound up on the stud, so we had to break it off to get the wheel back off. The Weld lugs DO NOT have this problem!!

A friend of mine had a local shop (MTI) install a fuel pump on his car. It surged and missed and he thought it was going lean, so he kept raising the fuel pressure. It finally died, and yes, those are 3 splices in about 10 ft. of wire! techstuff's 1968 Chevrolet Camaro

techstuff's 1968 Chevrolet Camaro When I first moved to Texas, I never knew how bad the cops could get! Just kiddin'... and glad it ain't me!

techstuff's 1968 Chevrolet Camaro After the fuel meltdown was fixed, it runs a little better! Caption says it all

techstuff's 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Our personal test track; if it looks familiar, you have probably been there!

And now, for some general pet peaves...

Isn't it amazing how many more rice rockets there are out there after the "Fraud and the Ficticious" movie came out? And can those wings and stickers get any bigger? Don't you just love the Japanse lettering that spells out Toyota or Mitsubishi splattered all over a Honda!!

techstuff's 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Speaking of shameless, what do you think about getting this guy to remove the Bowtie?!! I love the wing, the dual exhaust (for that pumped 4-cylinder)... oh, well.. I guess it was only a matter of time before the domestic front drives got into the act.

techstuff's 1968 Chevrolet Camaro And this one is kicking some serious butt! Gotta love the 3-spoke wheels, stripes, wing, extra fog lights, and YES!! even stickers! And to top it all off, he is running some way bad high 18 sec. quarters! (I sure hope that is 1/4 mile and not 1/8th mile times!!)

techstuff's 1968 Chevrolet Camaro ok, there are so many things wrong here, not to mention Big Bird (Sesame Street fart pipe signature series...?).. and even a poor Mustang is not immune, although it is most likely a 6 banger anyhow... sad, sad!

techstuff's 1968 Chevrolet Camaro And just when you thought the wings couldn't get any bigger, the new and improved "Super Twin Turbo BP++++++++ Furiously Fast Afterburner mono element wing (Signature Series)" This wing is adjustable for downforce, as well as crosswind counterbalance. The signature series is available in the following versions: Topgun, Maverick Approved Solo Version, Low Altitude Stealth, and The Right Stuff Approved Econobox Flier. Also available in the following materials: Titanium, Carbon Fiber, Adamantium Coated

Why is it that everyone comes up to you asking for a race, then wants 4 lengths and move? If you want to ask ME to race, better be ready to run heads up! If you already know that you are slower, why the heck are you bothering me?
My new motto :"I came here to drag race, not sell real estate! You ain't scared, is ya?"
