FIVER - Sean's MX5
Here's the car at it's first club related activity, Driving Big Dog through The Entrace in thier annual parade.
Here is the car more recently, as you can see it still looks totally standard, that's because if I rice the car up at all, the local police will be all over me. That raises the reason why I chose an MX5 in the first place. I had always liked the looks of the origional 'pop up light' MX5s, but never knew how they drove or even that they were rear wheel drive, when it came time to buy a car to drive around most of time I wanted something none of the other guys round town had, not your Commodore or Falcon or WRX or Nissan, sure they are great cars, and I even drive one of those, but for everyday fun I didn't want to be hassled by would be racers in Hyundais or Police, so after a little research the MX5 was chosen. Despite the Personalised plate, the police never worry me, although I'm worried that may change with the arrival of my new plate.
The first things I invested in for my new ride were club membership and a couple of performance and workshop manuals for the Miata/MX5. A great investment from which I have learned lots, including the next investment I made, new filters, oil, plugs, leads, etc.

Looking to upgrade in teh power stakes next A turbo kit may soon be added.
