Wiring:

I am getting started with the current cables. They connect the battery in the engine room to the second one on the trunk. Connected with 50mm power cable, under the car, to avoid them to interfere with the signal ones.

Both positive and negative cables are protected into corrugated tube...

...and driven through some channels under the chassis...

...finally metal plates screwed to the bottom of the car, cover and protect everything...

A couple of holes were drilled to let the power cables, protected into corrugated tube, get into the trunk...

And then, inside the trunk, special attention to the protection and identification of every cable...

For all the welding it was used special silver solder, to guarantee the best conductivity...

Some pics, of how all the speaker wires were protected, with extensible tube and corrugated pipe...

Special attention to the protection for speaker wires close to the amplifiers:

Notice the color identification for both positive and negative wires.

Finally close to the trunk, wires came out from the corrugated tubes, and are protected and identified in the usual way, "snake skin" and colured termic tubes...

I made special attention on the identification of all the wires to be shure not to make any mistake on the connections and to help judges or anybody who has to test o repair the system...

-Some pics of how all the wires were driven from the front to the trunk.

Speaker wires, each on their own side, in order to keep same lenght for each couple of cables (woofers, mids and tweets), this way we can minimize the impedance lacks, identified with black ties.

One side the middle of the car, signal cables (Ip-Bus and Optical Bus) wich link between Source and Porcessor, identified with blue ties.

On the other side, remote and power wiring for the fans and neons, wich will be controlled from the consolle, red and yellow ties.

All the ties, were fixed every 10-15cm, screwing them direcly to the chassis using special supports and metal srews.

-Also all the cables of the source unit were protected and identified:

-RCAs were cutted from 3 meters from Balanced Ultimate Signal cable from DLS to make them as short as possible.
I first measured the lenght for every single wire, extended them on the floor and cutted at the exact point, then wires were protected with extensible tubing...

I had to solder the other connector, that was "rescued" from the cutted out side of the wire...

And finally connectors were cutted, soldered and protected with wires tied up on their place.

Subwoofer wires were also protected, and banana connectors were used to avoid a strong and fast connection of the box.

A relay has been used to switch on the system, so positive, in and out wires have benn protected with fuses to avoid any damage to Head Unit or Amplifiers.

Fans were protected just like all the other wires...

Neons and their wires were also protected, identified and tied. Fast-on connections were included to allow easy and fast connection.
