System Design

I want to start this section, with some pictures I took from the boxes containing the amplifiers and sub as well as the first of the two Optima Yellow Batteries, I recieved on august the 15th:

-Some details of the Amps, they look great, wonderful finishing, perfect connections and almost 7Kg of astonishing Swedish electronic design...

Interesting info included, about electronic components of the amps:

As soon as they came to me I opened them and took some pics of their interior:

-Some pics of the sub, totally overdimensioned, heavy weight magnet, huge suspension and safe gold plated connectors...

As I work as an Industrial Designer I took profit of the Design Programs I use daily, to give shape to my ultimate project. It took something like 6 months of investigation, technical drawing, 3D Design and... money saving ;) You know, it is not easy to put inside a VW Golf's trunk all those components... this is, step by step, the result we will achieve hopefully before the end of the year 2003:

Some views of the components supports, made of Laquered MDF, with aluminium-like finishing...

How the amps, the sub, capacitor and power distribution will be placed, screwed to the supports and wired from the bottom of the trunk cover...

The whole system is going to be integrated, with beige leather finished covers. Everything should be visible and accessible through laminated glass windows on laser cutted polished steel frames...

And finally the final result, as it should look in a three or four months of hard work...

...don't forget I work on it only in my free time, and I have not too much in this days...
