Silverstars installed, parked next to my friend Russell's '97 Blazer. Picture shows his newly installed driving lights and high beams on and my newly installed silverstar's with the high beams. I win:

Done a modification to the airbox called the Deckplate Mod. I pretty much cut a hole in my stock intake box and put a deckplate from a boat in there so I can screw the plate back in and have a watertight seal. Allows for more flow of colder air, along with the amsoil high flow drop-in filter.
It's sustained a couple accidents.
#1 When my dad had it, some sporty car t-boned him and ran up under the passenger's side.
#2 From a stop sign, I fishtailed going about 7-10mph and knocked into a parked car.
#3 After driving 8 hours from NY on my way home from school the roads got real bad entering MD. I was going about 35, fish tailed into the guardrail and spun back across the highway. I ended up perpendicular to traffic across all 3 lanes but luckily, nobody hit me. Saw 4 other cars do the same, but 50 yards ahead and onto grass.
No damage to the engine or serious mechanical damage so we fixed it and it runs strong with nearly 80,000 to date.
