Meca CS-2 Ct State Record Holder
Ok well this is my 1996 Monte Carlo. The car is set up for SPL to compete in Meca. It competes in a CS-2 Class ( Comsumer Street 2) Which basicly says no walls or modifications to the car or charging system. Between 251-450 watts (now 351-650 watts) and no more than a 2-Farad Cap. The car contains in the way of multimedia a 6.5 Santeca TV with tuner box, an Orion Pro Audio VCR, and PS2. The headunit is a Alpine 3DA-W882. The car has orion 5 1/4's up front at 3 ohms stereo run by a Memphis ST-300, 6 1/2 Infinty componet kits on the sides and Memphis 6x9's in the back deck with the Infinty's and Memphis speakers being powered by a Phoenix Gold M25 at 2ohms stereo. The subwoofer box I custom made at home to produce very strong bass at low frequencys. The cars SPL note is a very low 40Hz. The box also produces within 2 db of its self with the mic anywhere in the car. The box holds 3 Jl Audio 12w6's. This pretty much somes up whats been done to the car so far but who knows what this spring will bring in.
I would like to Thank my girlfriend Alisha, my friend Andrew, my brother John, and everyone else who help along the way for hangen out while this car was built and for the help with styling and tuning.
