Here is my baby girl, currently codenamed Callista. She's a 1996 Camaro standard coupe, with a 3.8L V-6, w/approximately 220 hp, a 4-speed automatic (the only thing holding her back), anti-lock brakes, premium Bose speakers, and rare black and red 2-tone cloth interior. I even installed red & black matching seat covers, steering wheel cover and seatbelt pads to protect the interior as much as possible. It also still has the factory keyless entry & alarm system, as you can tell by my keys pictured above. I've spent a good deal of time & money making her my own through a number of upgrades and changes (ranging from the tiny to the extreme) to since I got her back in 1999.
It has taken a few years to get my life (more) together & some mods completed, and finally receive a digital camera as a b-day gift, but here is my page, and here is how it will remain indefinitely. I don't know how long I'll be keeping this car, now that she's 11 years old, and has been through quite a bit of travel and racing time.
and I aim to keep her that way for as long as humanly possible. I have been considering a Mazda 3 Grand Tourng, or a Cobalt SS S'Charged. 4-cylinder, high fuel economy, 5-spd stick, and all the creature comforts of a settled family man, at least until I get something hot & different as a weekend car. But I digress, enjoy the pictures below. U guys know engines and factory vs. A-mkt, so I won't be captioning every little photo, but pay special attention to the 2 pics of the flanges and cylinder flank/blocks, as that is where my RK SPort Headers are mounted.
There's a lot of fun stuff here; red loom in the engine bay to cover most of the wires, fuel, & pump lines. Aside form the front and rear windshield graphics, I kept pretty clear of stickers and decals, so as to keep the lines and appearance of the car as clean as possible. I did have some "CAMARO" mud flaps installed just as one of my custom subtleties, just as with the chrome "CAMARO" side badges and rear letter Inserts. The stainless steel hood gills were also a major upgrade over plastic, and I drilled the new ones through so they function.
The exterior lighting has been upgraded throughout, and will be shown on video using our trusty Canon PowerShot on Page 3.
