I purchased this car in the summer of 2001. The car had little over 110,000 miles on it and the body was in desperate need of restoration. It came with the factory 5.0 Liter High Output Engine with forged pistons and factory headers. The previous owner put on 16 inch wire wheels which fits the car but it is not my taste. Near 120,000 miles a rebuilt motor was put in place of the 5.0 HO. In the following pages you will witness the transformation of this machine into something that will make heads turn.
Starting this winter of 2002 A 351 Windsor will be purchased to start the transformation to a 408... now she will really be a Hot Rod Lincoln!
