Latest Stuff:
November 2009
ITR Swaybar set painted and ready to go on. and a little november sun.

October 2009
New Ferodo DS2500 brakepads for the HiSpec big brake kit.
Right now i'm in the process of painting my winter wheels and a used set of Integra Type R swaybars. pics of the results will follow this week. the photo on the right is what the winter rims looked like before paint. they look ok but a little plain for my taste.

August 2009
The civic at sundown.

Brand new windshield and some new pics. from twilight till dusk.

July 2009
A few new day & night shots of the coupe:

No updates just yet, couple of small updates planned for this month.

June 2009
Fresh paint, no rust.

No news yet, car is in the shop getting resprayed. nothing major just some rust removal in the rear quarters and some scratches and dents getting fixed. In the meanwhile, here are some more pics. And i ordered a new header, current one is pretty beat up and flattened by speed bumps *grrr*

May 2009
I was bored so here are some new pics. The angel eye headlights were put back in for the annual road safety test. My yellow projectors are not street legal since they have no driving lights, but i'll swap them back soon.

My ECU has been reprogrammed with eCtune. The powercurve is more linear and it goes harder and further through the high revs. i've got launch control, a shift light (on the engine check light) and the rev limiter (fuel cut off) has been increased to 9000rpm. more info: www.eCtune.com
Furthermore an aluminum/carbon look e-brake handle and a random pic.

Shiny new buddyclub oil filler cap and some photos at the carwash.

... and the windshield wipers got some fresh black paint.

April 2009
I made a little video with the photo camera of my civic taking off:
My friend with the blue hatch and me went to Racewars at the Zolder circuit in Belgium on April 19th. The right picture is the straightaway where the drag races took place. There were also some drift demonstrations, the paddock was packed with the top belgian show cars and the rest of the circuit was filled with "normal" tuner cars and a few muscle cars.

This little german Peugeot 106 really caught my eye, i think it's just perfectly balanced and hardcore, no air ride! more pictures of the day are on my site: http://valek.vze.com it's in dutch unfortunately, but you'll figure it out.

And the pics keep on coming...

Some more photos, this time in the bright sunlight. not the best light for taking pictures i know, but a few came out pretty nice.

Installed shift links from an EK9 (6th gen Civic Type R), a bit thicker than the VTi (european Si) links. small but pleasant difference. transferred the PU bushing to the new ones.
Replaced a defective thermostat, replaced the coolant and Mobil 1 LSD oil.

March 2009
The summer wheels are back under the car, and that feels a lot better.
Lighter rims and stickier rubber really make quite the difference.
Here's a first attempt at night pictures, let me know what you think.

January 2009
Transmission upgrade: revised ITR S80 tranny with a new Kaaz 1.5 way LSD.
BBK 255 lph fuelpump replacing the 15 year old OEM one.
Denso Iridium longlife sparkplugs
Installed the painted valve cover and wirecover
And yes i know, the car is very dirty. What did you expect in the middle of winter ;)

December 2008
I rearranged my page layout: a lot of pics of the civic that i made since day 1 are now on page 3, which is called "the last 10 years", check it out.
November 2008
Installed my newly acquired winter rims, Stilauto SR500 7x17".
Last year we had a very mild winter so i didn't bother.
The winter before that i had my steelies with winter tires on, but they don't fit over the big brakes in the front no more. The Stilauto rims just barely clear the brakes and I think they go quite nice with the car.

Updated page 2, the pics & specs page. check it out
October 2008
Got my B16A1 valve cover back, shaved and painted silver by Marco.
Picked up a used DC sports wire cover.
Replaced a worn out rear brake caliper with a almost new one.

August 2008
Swapped the angel eyes for my old projectors, looks better, more light.Made some new pictures. the weather wasn't all that nice, it was raining a bit but the car was clean so i decided to take my camera and go for a drive.

July 2008
Progress Competition Camber correction kit
(complementing the ITR upper control arms, not replacing them)
2 new tyres: Falken FK452 205/40 17
wheels aligned and balanced

June 2008

May 2008
My friend with the blue hatch and me went to Racewars at the Zolder Circuit in Belgium.
Always a nice event with all the show cars parked on the circuit. The event has a Show and Shine competition, Drag and Drift races.

May 2008 (continued)
HiSpec big brake kit, 300mm (11,8") rotors with 4 piston calipers on VTi knuckles and replaced the upper control arms with brand new ITR ones.
I swapped the carzone A pillar for a second hand grey autometer one.

Early 2008
Rays Duranuts Black lightweight lugnuts.
EG6 Gauge cluster. painted grey with red needles and my original speedo.
I've added some pictures of a photoshoot summer 2007 in the south of Holland, they're on page 4.

Two of my favourite pics from 2007, as you can see not much has changed on the exterior.
My main focus has been engine, brake and suspension improvements.

And finally this is what the civic looked like 10 years ago when i just bought it, bone stock.
It has been driven daily since that very day. oh and can you say "Built, not Bought" ?
Don't forget to check out my long term vintage euro restoration (not) project:

Grandpa's Car: 1976 Audi 80 GLS
my very first car, built up from stock of course:

The Sprinter: 1986 Volkswagen Polo Coupe 1.3
As small as the first one, but twice as fast with a few mods:

The G40: 1993 Volkswagen Polo Coupe 1.3i G40 Genesis Edition
