Hey thanks for stopping by. This is my car. Been slowly modding it for about 3 years. Let me know what you think. I'm attending Western Michigan University so summer is really the only time I modify my car. heres a couple pictures from last year I never posted here.
::update 8/8/05 ::
car has been in the shop the entire summer. coolant leaking everywhere, seals replaced, fouled spark plugs replaced, audi of america looking into the cylinder head replacement since coolant is finding its way into cylinder 3 creating small puddles onto of the piston. awesome. anyway, car currently resides at the body shop getting repray on front end and s4 rear end.
::update 6/6/05 ::
I was recenetly rear ended ruining my rear bumper and pushing me into the car infront (I was stopped in traffic) and sratching the hell out of the front bumper. Errr. It's always something. Other than that, all boost leaks fixed, the head gasket was replaced due to running the car lean so long without software with the K04.
::update 5/6/05 ::
Since I've been running a k04 uncoded for a while I finally sent my ECU out to California to Greedspeed to get new software. The car is now running large bosch fuel injectors rated at 360cc and the software is provided by Neuspeed. The software runs a 1.4bar / 93 octane / k04 specific program with no switching... I ordered another bypass valve because mine is shot (710N bosch) and will be installing Beru Ultra spark plugs. Next up: exhaust and DSMIC...
::updated 2/7/05 ::
Well I blew my stock K03 Turbo with APR Stage 1 with updated coding... I have recently updated the car with a Borg Warner K04 Turbo from Majestic Turbochargers of Dallas and I have swapped out my shocks for Bilstein Grooved Shocks from Awe-Tuning.com The car is still running ~215 hp and is in need of new K04 programming/larger fuel injectors/free flowing cat back exhaust. I have a lot of options. I'm unsure if I want to go Neuspeed software, Dahlback Racing software, or Revo Tecknic software. Decisions, decisions...
::update 1/8/05 ::
Recently had the updated APR software put on. 215hp/245lb-ft. I plan on getting larger fuel injectors eventually and running about 235+ horse with close to 280lb-ft torque. I also just picked up AWE-Tuning's grooved bilstein shocks since my current shocks are done for.
pictures over last summer:
well pretty much everything I'm goin to do to the car is done. I have finally dropped the car an inch and a half all around on Neuspeed Sport Springs. I am now running APR Stage 1 93 octane software. The software takes advantage of APR's new direct port programming which is pretty cool because no actual new "chip" has to be soldered onto my ECU. The process takes about 15 minutes using the dealers VAG connection APR's website to upload the new software. I can get other programs such as race / 100 octane software but I don't really see a need for it now. To learn more about the software go to www.goapr.com hmm what else...I may get my front windows retinted. That's about it. Have a good summer everyone and steer clear of fish flies.
::updated 4/18/04 ::
car got vandalized... drunk kids punched out a window, tailight, and dented my rear quarter panel. He will be paying for repairs. In the meantime I have had most of it fixed. New kamei badgeless grill has been put on and removed the lower chrome trim. Car needs to get retinted and is awaiting installation of Neuspeed Sport springs giving it a nice drop all around. Not doing too much else to the car. Getting a new car in January.
