The stereo system is not completed at this time, but I will show a few pics as to what has been completed to date. Obviuosly, as things progress, I will update this page.

The rear seats were removed to make room for more stereo equipment. This area will house 2
Optima Batteries, a processor, and a
Nitrous Express Nitrous bottle. Later, this area will all be painted the same dark red as the outside of the car.

This is an overhead view of the trunk of the car. The dark red painted area will house 2
Diamond Audio Hex woofers. Once the surrounding area is finished being saneded, it too will be painted dark red.

This is what the side panels look like right now. As you can see, they are completely remade. The "bowl" will house the
Diamond Audio passive crossovers for the front speakers. A simialar "bowl" of the other side will house all the
Hooker Audio Fusing for the amplifiers. You can see the trim panel around the window has been painted gloss black, like the outside of the car. The window line was used as the starting point of the 2 colors...anything above the window line (inside and out) is painted black, while anything below the window line (inside or out) is painted dark red.

Now that the side panel has been completed (7-14-02), this is what it looks like. The
Diamond Audio Crossovers are mounted on this side. They are on 1/4" stand offs to allow the speaker wires to be hidden under the crossover. Also, red LEDs were installed inside the crossover...this gives off a red "glow" at night.

The above picture shows the work in progress of the passenger rear side panel. This will house the main fusing for the stereo system. 1 fuse for an input, and the other 4 protect the 4
Diamond Audio D7152 Anplifiers. The panel was created using the factory panel as a mold, the fleeece was streteched to the desired shape, and fiberglass resin was applied. Then Bondo was used to smooth things out.

This is what the side panel looks like before the fuses are installed. The panel was painted the same dark red as the outside of the car. These are the mounting screws for the ANL
Hooker Audio Fuses. The panel is made in such a way that you will not see the wiring...that will help give a "clean" look. There is a small red LED in the center of each fuse mounting. This will light up then there is power, and go out should the fuse ever blow. That will give me immediated info as to what may be wrong with the system.
