Various Pictures! This page will be several more recent pictures of various part of the car.

jmarsh's 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse A close-up shot of the engine compartment.

jmarsh's 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse This is the full engine bay taken the beginning of October 2002. Sorry it looks so dirty.

jmarsh's 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse This is the close-up of the graphics on the hood. Nothing like painting on a carbon fiber hood! The base is a kandy silver with chameleon highlights of red. There is airbrushed shadows, and hand painted lines. The picture does not really do the work justice, but thats all I can do.

jmarsh's 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse The Wings West wing was also repainted. This is a close-up of the passenger side. The "tear" graphic was carried to this part of the car. The main area of the wing was painted black, with just the edges having the red. Even the under side of the wing has the tear, which is visible when the hatch is up.

jmarsh's 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse This is what the dash looks like now. There are some dash pieces that were painted gloss black like the top half of the car. The HSK boost controller is mounted to the top of the steering column, and the APEXi S-AFC is mounted just in front of the shifter below the radio.

jmarsh's 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse This is a close-up of the Supr Tail lights. Notice there is NO gap around the light, and the body "flows" without ripples or creases. The lights are also removealbe. Should I need to change a bulb, or if the lens ever cracks, I can get them out unsing the Toyota factory bolts (2) that are used to hold the lights in on a Supra. This is somewhat uniquie, in that most taillight conversions mold the lights INTO the bumper, mine are molded ONTO the bumper.

jmarsh's 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse These are the aluminum plates that cover the batteries in the rear seat area. They were CNC machine just like the grills for the kick panels. These are 1/4 thick solid aluminum.

Some of the Team Elite guys from Spartanburg, SC at recent show. The blue truck in the background is owned by Matt Sanders of Elite Customs who did all the body and paint work on my car.

jmarsh's 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse This is the fuse panel that goes in front of each battery in the rear area. Since we used real carbon fiber to trim the panel, we had to put a grommet in the hole for the fuse stud. Cabon fiber can conduct electricity....we did not want that. The wiring for the fuse is hidden under the panel. Imagine a typical ANL fuse holder, but the studs you attach the ring terminals to are facing down.

jmarsh's 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse The upper intercooler pipind and throttle body elbow were both polished by hand...well, maybe SOME air tools were used. The off-white shirt is covering the engine as the valve cover is off at the paint shop getting worked over.

A few side shots of the car. Every angle seems to get a different color out of the graphics.

jmarsh's 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse This is what the center piece looks like now. You can see the aluminum stripes that were molded in. Also, you get a good view of the Diamond Audio passive crossovers in the driver side rear panel.

jmarsh's 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse This was from the SLAP Nationals in 2003. I am on the right. On the left is Justin, make sure to check out his Accord (look at my friends). Between the 2 of us, we took home a few trophies!
