Thank you for taking the time to check out my Eclipse. I have been working on it for over 7 years now, and its still not finished. Please take the time to look over all the pages. I promise it will be worth your time.
This is a picture of my Eclipse, as it was seen at the Atlanta Premier of
The Fast and the Furious a while back. This picture has been used
MANY times for people trying to sell carbon fiber hoods on the inernet...
Of course there was a lot of work that was done to get the car looking like the first picture. The VIS Carbon Fiber Hood was on order at this point, and the Blitz Front Clip and the Z3 fenders were at the paint shop. This made it easy to install the GReddy Front intercooler as well as upper and lower piping.
This is what my Eclispe looked like when I first purchased it. It has come a LONG way since then, and still has a way to go before I am finished.
And this is what it looked like at the NOPI Nationals 2002. The following pages will give information as the the build up of the car.
The above Picture was taken at the NHRA Sport Compact Races and Style Fest this past weekend, April 5-6, 2003. I now have 19"
ACE Alloy wheels with new
BFGoodrich tires.
This picture shows the Ichibahn steering wheel. Behind it, you can see the APC white gauge faces and aluminum trim. You can also see the
Autometer gauges in the dash bezel. The A-pillar houses 3 additional
Autometer gauges.
Toward the floor is the Sparco Carbon Fiber (real) Pedals. You can also see the custom kick panels. The Diamond Audio speakers are protected by a custom CNC machined billet aluminum grill. The baffle the spakers are mounted to are color-matched to the outside of the car.
When I say that the grill were cut on a CNC Machine, I was not kidding. A full sheet of 1/4" Aluminum is not cheap...but I like the look. 3 grills were cut, 1 for each kick panel, and 1 for me to show judges.
