,A Little SHOW AND GO: The Latest Mods
" 'cause it's hard to leave a good thing alone."
Kooks Custom Headers and Y pipe.
MacEwen Silver Faces Gauge Overlays with custom vinyl decals from Brent @ F-Body Vinyl.
Billet Aluminum Pedals from Dyno Pro.
Bilstein/Eibach Shock/Spring Package from SLP. Custom-designed to SLP’s specifications by their respective manufacturers, these pieces fuse race-quality responsiveness at the track with a firm but comfortable ride in everyday use. Drops ride height up to an 1" from stock.
Magnaflow Cat-back Exhaust System. Good for 14 additional HP and 18 additional Ft Lbs of Torque over stock.
SLP Smooth Bellow. This piece replaces the restrictive accordion-style factory bellows, straightening out air flow between the MAF sensor and throttle body for an increase of horsepower. A single-rib design allows adequate flex while posing minimal restriction.
SLP Bolt-On Subframe Connectors. These units employ beefy DOM-steel tubing to substantially improve chassis stiffness, traction, and handling response.
Shock Tower Brace Decals from F-Body Vinyl - http://www.bfranker.badz28.com/vinyl/vinyl.htm on the Shock Tower Brace from SLP Performance Parts . The STB improves handling by minimizing front end flex. Also, you can see the Donaldson Blackwing OEM high flow air lid and filter from SLP Engineering , which is good for ten additional Horsepower (according to GM and SLP).
Other Mods I Have Done:
Painted Calipers using the kit from G2 Manufacturing along with Caliper Decals from Afterthoughtsauto.com.
Before and After
Black anodized SS engine plaque from SLP personalized with the car's build number.
The Oris Windstop from www.Afterthoughtsauto.com. Probably one of the best modifications I have done, the Windstop greatly reduces wind turbulence and noise when driving with the top down. Also, I've added the 8" shorty Z06 antenna from Eckler's Corvettes.
These are true polyurethane fill-ins, not just decals, from www.RKSport.com. It really dresses up the back.
Red custom SS logo caps from www.Afterthoughtsauto.com add a small flash of color to the wheels.
There's always something else being planned, so stay tuned....
