Welcome to my 1992 Sable Wagon page.
The car is finally starting to look good as well as sound good! It took a while but it's finally done.

The majority of the system has been sold. All that remains is the dual 12" ported box with the chrome handles, the amp rack itself, the switchbox, and some odds and ends like distribution blocks and stuff.
I'm planning on putting a small system in the new car. new MB Quart Reference line component sets for the front and rear as well as a single MB Quart 10" Reference line sub in the back for some fill in bass. Nothing crazy.
I'll have pictures that I'll post on here as well as possibly make a new page on the Hyundai Elantra sites. I'll inform people about the new site and when that will happen on this site.

The car has been retired. It was replaced with a 2003 Hyundai Elantra GT this month. The system will not be going into the new car, so I'm leaving it up for sale.

I got the tools needed to complete the custom Euro tail lights project for Christmas. I'm hoping to get to them in the next couple of weeks.
I'm putting a major part of my stereo system up for sale. including subs, box, chrome handles, amp rack with amps, power cap, all wiring for amprack, all accessories for amprack, and 2 20" neon tubes in buyers choice of colour.
The reason being I'd like to go with a smaller system that will take up less space. I'm hoping to go with one 12" sub and power it to hit about 140 dB.

The new pictures are developed, I just have to scan them in and crop them so I can post them here.(hopefully by next friday).
Also, because there have been a few inquieries about my tail lights I'm posting the pics of the making of them. (see 'Exterior Pics' [pg #2]).
Related to the last piece of info, I got a spare set of tail lights and I'm going to be starting my next project CUSTOM EURO'S!!
Keep in mind that if they don't turn out to look like aftermarket euro's I won't be putting them on the car. I hate it when something looks like a half-ass job.

Work done on the Sable:
- Engine replaced at 77,000km (47,800 mi.) with a used engine with 60,000km (37,300 mi.) on it.
(a piston decided to shatter into 14 pieces while I was driving)
- Both front CV joints
- New radiator and hoses
- More new rad hoses!!
- New rack & pinion steering
- New front ball joints
- New camber bearings on the front
- New tower bearings on the front
*Keep in mind that this car is 12 years old and still only has 117,000 km on it or approx. 72,700 miles (100,000 km on the engine now)*
