The first modification I had planed for my car, being a professional Installer, was of course, putting an after-market system in it. Being married and having a child really puts the wheels turning in ones mind when it comes to a full system install. Where am I going to put everything? How much space will it take? How will it sound? Guys, if your married and have not asked yourself these questions. You had better before SHE does.
We (Myself and another installer Cass) decided to set in one 12 Kenwood Db sub in the spare tire. This would allow me to save room as well as keep my spare tire. This was a big concern having a compact sport as well as still having room to transport items in the back (i.e. Child stroller and golf clubs).
Another big concern with any installer is the big T word all stereo and car enthusiast hate. THEFT!. We decided to go with the Chameleon look. Not the fanciest, but the most useful in this situation.
