This is my
1990 Mazda 626 LX. I bought her a little over a year ago from a neighbor. I went with the 626 because I thought it was kinda rare to see a 626 in good shape and I didn't want a car that's a dime a dozen. Since the purchase I have put in a little performance with, upkeep mostly, and alot of exterior and interior care. I have also upgraded the sound system from the stock stereo. For being a 10+ year old car, my 626 is in really good shape. During the summer she gets a washing and waxing almost every weekend.
She has never been taken to a car wash since I owned her because I enjoy doing the work myself. I recomend doing performance/upgrades or modifications yourself. There is nothing like getting the satisfaction of knowing you did the job well and you did it yourself, plus the fact that it is always more cost effective.
I have used tons of car care products in search of what would work best on my car. The best stuff I have found was from
http://www.dccarcare.com. Their stuff is far and away better than any of the consumer level products found in retail auto stores.
