ONE LAST UPDATE FOR MY FANS.
ITS FOR SALE...
Bought a 1997 Chevy Suburban (needed more room and bigger rims and system, got a good deal and couldnt resist) I still have the ghetto fab Acclaim in pristine condition and it is for sale. Hit me up in the Guestbook if you are interested.
Did some more work. Hopefully this is it for the Acclaim. All the $$ are going toward the Burb, i will put a link up on here once I get some pictures.
Just installed Boss Components (KIT55). Boss AMP K980 1600W. Painted my speaker grills silver. Installed woodgrain dash kit. Built custom amp rack (stealth install). Pics are coming as soon as I get my digital camera working again...
Custom LED lighting installed...

I used the cigarette lighter to put a lighted switch inside. installed 3 blue LEDs in the storage compartment.

Jus done a few little things to make the Acclaim stand out from the rest. New grille is in the plans. (I like the '92 Lebaraon Sedan grille. But a custom job might be cheaper. If u know where I can get one at holla at me in the guestbook)
Got to have the bling baby.

And the shine. LED brake lights. Installed in the brake and reverse lights.

Runnin the show is the JVC KD-SH-55. the money dropped on it is worth it for the dope sounds this puts out. It has a 24bit D/A convertor, which makes my CDs sound a lot cleaner than some other H/Us I considered for the package. High voltage pre-outs, and a aux input also are just some of the features. Oh yeah and it look real fine in that dash too..

120W RMS, 5 1/4", 45-12000Hz
Got 2 of the better Pioneer coaxials in the back doors. Almost the same model as the fronts but these are a little better cone material and they pound harder than the fronts. They put out a decent sound. Mostly there so the rear passengers can hear the beats. Out here in Cali I like to roll with all windows down and with these in the back they just make it even more of a problem to the neighbors.

45W RMS 1" 8000-22000Hz
I found some tweeters with a neon ring around them which is sound-activated. These look dope at night. (++UPDATE++ these are gone needless to say. The cops in SoCal are all a-holes.)

1200W Max, 250W RMS, 10", 20-800Hz
The subwoofers, the bomb droppers y'all. Two 10" Infinity Reference 1020Ws. Wired in parallel runnin a 2 Ohm load. About 600 Watts RMS for the both. I got some 10" Neon rings around them to spice up the trunk.
Mounted in a sealed enclosure with 0.75ft3 for each. I reccomend these very highly. You will not find a better sub for SQ and SPL in this price range.

The 5 1/4s all run off the JVC headunit. It has a built in 200W MOSFET amp and its decent for them, but there are plans to upgrade to a 4x100 4 channel amp. Once the HIFonics are installed the headunit will not be enough. The subs are runnin off of this joint for now...

Yea u eyes aint deceivin u. It's a Sony!. It does the job what can I say. I am going to replace this in the next month. Just not stable enough at 2 Ohms.

Wired by a Scosche 4awg amp kit. Scosche 16 gauge wiring also used for the speakers. Subs are wired with 12 gauge PG wiring. Phoenix Gold RCA cables.
