This is my car. It is a 2002 Honda Civic EX 4 Door sedan.
The sound system is meant to be minimally altered, while providing what i like, bass...the mids and highs are fine. so is the factory radio...i dont care what anyone says...cause its all i need. At least the pix should be helpful to anyone who has never worked on this car before.

The blue looks sooo cool. Plus it's nice that the car now has 15" wheels.

There is a large wire harness going into the firewall here. So I followed it from the battery and used that same route for my power wire.

Zoomed out pic of the same location, to give you an idea.

The grommet location on the inside of the car. easy to get to.

The door sills are easy to take off. Get your finger under the plastic and lift up. on the inside of the door, you have to pull towards the inside of the car, it's easy and if you dont understand what i mean, just pull up, and look inside, and you will see what i mean.

That middle piece seems hard to take off, but as my brother
stated here, it really isnt that hard. Well, the same goes for this car..as well as older hondas...good to know that they dont change some things...!

Removing the rear sill is the same as the front. But this time, in order to keep from having to remove the back seat, which doesnt allow it to come off completely. we pulled the rear seat up as far as it would go. And there ya have it, more than enough space to route the wire through there.

Better look at folded up rear seat.

This is what we decided to do under the hood. Dont forget, this is a small one amp system, so i didnt need anything outrageous.

We cut a small slot in the factory covering to allow for the new wire. This is the only way to do this w/out changing the whole battery terminal w/an aftermarket one.

Great view of the wiring integration...it almost looks like it goes there

another pic..all done.
I'll post pix when we finish installing the amp and sub box....
