Sound System
Every piece of car audio in my car, I installed myself. It's very easy to do everything so I never see any reason to take it somewhere and spend way too much money to have someone put it in. It also gives you a great feeling of accomplishment when you do things yourself and the end product turns out really well. Everyone should try it sometime.
My audio components include and Alpine 7875 cd player, 2 Mobile Authority MA 580 tweeters which i HIGHLY recommend if you are into sound quality, 2 visonik 4.5's in the front doors, 2 polk 3 way 6x9's in the rear, a polk gnx 12 subwoofer, and a visonik 500 watt x 2 channel amp to power the woofer.
I installed the tweeters on the front A-pillars to get the best sound i could get (pointed it straight to the passenger and driver since high end is directional). I high recommend these tweeters because they really bring the sound out. You can get the tweeters at www.justcaraudio.com for $28.63 a pair. It is the Mobile Authority MA580 tweeters. I did a trunk mount for the subwoofer basically playing it free air. I need to get a different woofer since the polk doesn't really like playing in a "free air" type box. It sounds great but can't really push much power.
