Latest Site Updates: Finally have my videos online and linked below. Please, please, please right click and save the files. I don't want to burn up my dad's bandwidth. Many thanks for doing so!!

Next, I have an update to the Engine/Performance Parts section. I bought some Eibach springs to finally upgrade my suspension and I also got a PLX Devices M-500 wideband o2 sensor setup. You can check out the pictures on Page 7.

New!! Videos of the Turbo Max

Had 3 people in the car including myself and a bunch of junk in it so the total weight was probably pushing about 4000 # (making it quite a bit slower than usual). I'm hoping to pick one up sometime so I can do some more videos of it under normal conditions.

My brother was recording while I was behind him. We were doing about 55 or so and then I accelerated to pass him and was probably doing about 85 or so by the time I got next to him. If you notice his speedo stays at 0. That would be because Pep Boys broke the wire off of the speed sensor... and blamed it on us.

Finally got to record it by myself so the weight of the car was a bit better. First gear still seemed more sluggish than usual but I think that's due to tuning issues.

In this video you can kind of tell how it accelerates in first gear much better. When I go partial throttle it climbs much faster since its not running as rich is my guess.

My car is finally running and running very good. It is running pretty rich so I need to tune it with my S-AFC but I need to get to a dyno with a wide band o2 sensor to do that. I should know soon what kind of power I'm pulling. As for the manifold my dad cut the original turbo flange off and went at it with a cutting torch so it would flow well. After that we had a steel plate welded on to seal everything up and it is doing very good. The only problem is not everyone would be able to do that kind of work so I'm trying to think of an easier way to fix that problem for people who are going to do the swap in the future.

Found out some new info on my engine. It is actually not from the Nissan Cima like I had originally heard. From what I can tell it came out of a 87-91 Y31 Nissan Cedric.

Just in case you guys were wondering why my quarter miles times were so high that is because that time is with the stock engine. I am hoping to be in the 15's or better yet 14's with this engine but now that it is running I need to get it tuned and go to a track.

Finally got my car running and here is what is in it.

I got the engine swapped in with the help of one of my friends in one week. From then on I took it to a shop to decide what to do with the turbo. Stock, it was right where the maxima's motor mount was so after a while we finally decided to move it to where it is now. I highly recommend turbocharging your Maxima. This is the most fun I've had in a long time with a car. I now just need to upgrade to a bigger turbo.
