This page is left up in memory of my 1st ride. I still got love for DSM no matter what!
This is my original project I use to have in 2004-2007. LoL Now that I look at it, I really think my ride was quite ugly n' sloppy with the mods I've done to it. But hey, it was my first time doing mods and what not. Now I have a Hyundai (never thought I'd get one of those cars really) and the things I'm doing to it now would have been done to the Eclipse. That is including removing all the unessessary vynils from the window, removing that ridiculous wing LMAO, and the 1000 LB rims that weighed more than the car itself. Basically, the paint job on my current car would have been on this ride, the OEM (preferrably an GST style) CF spoiler would have been applied, and only my logo on the windshield would remain. That's why I named my ride, "Revenge" in the memory of my Eclipse. "What happened to ya ride?" Well...Long story behind it. But to make it short n' sweet, a shop I trusted sold my ride and everyone in town knows your ride and saw what happened. Owner said it was stolen yet no police report has been filed. That was the dumbest thing I heard. My exact last words to him as I walked out the door, "I'm not gonna rest until I find my ride..." Took his ass to court, and moments later, he's in jail for other reasons and come to find out he's screwed previous people selling their rides. Amazing nobody did anything about it until I stepped up. I might not have gotten my baby back, but at least justice has prevailed for others who have lost their rides and mine. Also heard the shop closed down. :)

This is Cylence's baby picture. Just your ordinary everyday Eclipse on the street.
Y'know, have you ever looked at another factory car model that's the same as yours (Same factory rims, same color, and all when you first bought it) and have a temporary flashback of when your car use to look like that when you first bought it? I do. Hell all the time. I'd be like like "Shit, I came a long way starting from there!" You gotta give yaself a pat on tha back for all the blood, sweat, and tears you put into your ride.
This was (I think) the next day after I bought Cylence. I wanted to take pictures knowing that VERY soon, I'm gonna mod the hell outta it. So a Kodak moment was strongly recommended cuz it ain't gonna stay like this in a few days...
Nothing special here. The seat covers was my very 1st mod along with the temporary air freshener if you wanna be technical about it. (XD)
After putting on rims, a spoiler (not just some cheap non-adjustable one), and window tint on Cylence, she was considered as my "Phase II Project". Not much of a visual big improvement during the day until 9 p.m...
...I turn the switches on, and she comes to life. During that time, I had 1 in dash TV and a PS2 with a blue glowing controller. It was my first big step into customizing Cylence.
I'm neo crazy at night time. As soon as night hit, I flip the switches for the neons to come on inside and out. Of course you can already guess that blue is my favorite color.
When I installed the wing, it was a real pain in the ass drilling holes for the stand. I hated that moment! I was trying to hurry up and get it done before nightfall because over here in GA, there's a looooooooooong ass road that has nothing but street cars showing off their nice stuff and I never miss a night out there.
My 1st Alpine in dash DVD player. Not a touch screen, but it was the 2nd best one that costed me a whopping 2Gs. This was during "Phase II" and at the time I really didn't know jack about cars that much. Especially when I coulda bought the turbo kit instead (but then again, I was under a 1 year warranty). No matter, I wanted Cylence to be more of a show car than anything.
Everybody asks me when they sit in the car, "What's that?" They see the 5.6" visor t.v. on the passenger side and then they see this thing here. It's a navigation unit by Delphi. I went through 2 of these damn things The 1st time it was my fault cuz I keep forgetting to take it down when I park. It's hot as hell down here and the sunlight beaming on it ruined the thing. The 2nd one was just a piece of shit so I returned it and got a third. XD
This is a ok view of what I was talking about. My theme with this car is to have some asian (chinese) lettering on the car later on. *See concept gallery to see what I'm talking about*
My boys at Circuit City (Pat & Tommy) looked at me crazy when I said I wanted the T.V.s mounted on the roof so whoever's driving behind me can see what I'm playing on my PS2 or on the radio. Since the roof was gonna be fiber glassed, I didn't care if the holding bars were showing a bit. Though, you really can't see them anyways especially from the outside. I rid the back seats making it a 2-seater. The two twelves, three amps, and two capacitors are already in the process of being fiberglassed and soon there won't be a lower back seat. EVERYTHING's being removed from the back except for the strut bar (of course). You'll see the building progress soon.
After the 4 T.V.s were installed, I had the rear view camera installed and linked to the in-dash. So now everytime I drive, I put it on so whereas whoever's behind me can see themselves! Trust me, when you get one of these bad boys that can even see slightly in the dark and adjusts itself to the sunlight intensity, you'll hardly ever look up at the rear view mirror. And for rear parking, you won't have a excuse as to why your bodykit bottomed out. Most of my boys suggested that I get another one for the front for looks as well....Hmmmmmm.... You ask, "Where's the camera at?" That lil' dot in the rear bumper is the camera. I meant to take some photos of it in action along with the rear TVs and the neon setup I sorta rearranged (like the front bumper neon hidden in the grill) before it had to go into the shop. I got a lil' lazy about that.
Though I'm in the process of getting a turbo, I installed the fog lights like how the 3rd gens have theirs. They're the 7 angel eye color fog lights. I usually have them on blue that matches the front neon hidden inside the upper part of the front grill. I never thought the Projection lights would require for me to litteraly remove just about the entire front including the inner bumper so I can reach for the remaining two measly screws holding the factory headlights. The back lights I did was a cinch so I thought if the back was just as simple as removing the inner plastic interior and unscrewing the lights, the front should be even easier since everything under the hood is out in the open. Guess I was wrong big time about that. I usually prefer installing bolt on stuff myself as learning experience unless it's electronics or something that I have to pull the engine out. I gotta take classes on electronics cuz I suck at it and I hate it.
People always ask me "What does the side say?" When they see the chinese script on the windows. I really forgot what it says cuz I once knew this girl who use to translate english to chinese for me when I ask her a million favors for it. I do know the front I wrote in english "The future of racing, a new era of speed" and had it translated.
The mods were very basic as you can see. Things that I would consider a starter's mod (Phase II engine mod in my books). As you can tell, I wasn't focusing too much on the engine work yet.

8 Months later (see "E! True DSM Stories" as to why 8 months), I spent a few days cleaning her up to get Cylence back to her former state on the outside. This October 2k5, I'm focusing on exterior stuff.

Banacom Signs...that's all I gotta say. They're the ones who applied all my car "tattoos". Like this back says it's Mitsubishi slogan, "Driven To Thrill" in chinese traditional with the logo diamond in the back.

Sponsored by The Tint Shop under Team -J- Spec. I'm waiting for the car club stickers I have designed for everyone. You can see it on E! where there's a "J" in red with Team J written out in black on a white background. The design was my inspiration from seeing the Type-R logo. That's where the idea came from. Then I had to add my Wu-Tang style by putting the carclub name in chinese.

Z3 fenders! Finally, after so many months of it sitting in my room collecting dust with the other parts that's still enqued to be installed.

October 20th, I got my doors put on and boy was riding in the wind with them up was the shit! I felt like I was in Mike Jone's video "Still Tippin" playing that song in my head. Then singin' out loud my remix, "Me and you...yo mama and yo cuzin too...ridin' down Washington Road...comin' up slammin' vertical doors." Like OutKast.

More pics of Cylence. This time I took it a lil' late during the day as you can see. Not only that, I liked the reddish sky that day.
