I bought the car in February of 2000. Go to the bottom of this page for a link to see the custom install that I had done in my previous car, a 1993 MR2. Mileage on the M3 as of 6/4/00 reads 7900. I crashed this car in August of 2000. Spun out at 120mph into a utility pole, full driver side impact. The car had major unrepairable frame damage. However, the side air bag most definately saved my life, and saved my skull from being crushed. To see pics of my car after the crash Click Here for Crash Pictures. Mods I had before i crashed were as follows:

 * K&N intake
 * ECIS intake heat shield
* HKS Klasse cat-back exhaust
 * Euro-spec clear turn signal lenses
* AC Schnitzer carbon fiber strut bar
* AC Schnitzer carbon fiber front lip
 * AC Schnitzer aluminum pedals
 * AC Schnitzer aluminum shift knob
 * AC Schnitzer 18" Type 3 one piece wheels
* BMW Motorsports Rear X-brace
* Racing Dynamics Anti-sway bars
 * H&R Lowering Springs (-2.2" front, -1.2" rear)
 * NR Auto silver gauge faces
 * Valentine One radar and laser detector
 * Clifford alarm system

 Here is a list of my stereo mods:
  - Eclipse 7002 Head Unit
  - Eclipse 5961 6-CD In-Dash Changer
  - Eclipse 2301 Hideaway EQ/DSP Sound Processor
  - Eclipse 8-disc CD Changer
  - Clarion 7101 TV Tuner
  - Xtant 1001dx (1x1000 watts @ 1 ohms)
  - (2) Xtant 301a (1x300 watts @ 4 ohms)
  - Clarion APA2103 (2x100 watts @ 4 ohms)
  - (2) Diamond S600s HEX 6.5" midrange (front)
  - (4) Diamond HEX 1" silk dome tweeter (front)
  - (2) Nakamichi SP-15 4" soft-dome midrange (front)
  - (2) Diamond M541 4.5" midrange (rear)
  - (2) Diamond M5.1t 1" aluminum dome tweeter (rear)
  - (3) Eclipse 8710 10" subwoofers
  - (2) Streetwire 0.5 farad capacitors

 My install was done by TRAFFIC JAMS (818-501-JAMS / http://www.trafficjamz.com) in Encino, CA. All speakers were installed in the factory locations, except for the subs. All factory speaker grills were also left untouched. The doors, baffle, and other needed areas were Dynamatted. The interior rear deck was redone in black (used to be grey). This helped to emphasize the two-tone interior.

 This system is not yet completed, I still need to put in a couple splotlights to light up the amp rack for my 2 301a's. Currently, The only lighting in the trunk is the red neon which lights up the rack with the 1001dx.

 (4/26/00) I installed a second set of Diamond Audio HEX silk dome tweeters up front to increase the volume of the highs. They sound great. They were put in the A-pillars in custom moldings that fit in the door. I also installed a hands-free cell phone kit with automatic stereo muting.

 (5/7/00) First competition at Thousand Oaks, Street Sound Plus. I took first place in the novice class 601+ powerclass in both SQ and SPL with 140.5 dB.

 (6/4/00) Installed an 8-disc CD Changer in the trunk. New pics should be up soon.

My Titanium Silver 1999 BMW M3. So far I have installed Euro-spec clear corner lenses, AC Schnitzer pedals shift knob and rims, NR Auto silver gauge faces, H&R lowering springs, and a K&N intake. Future mods may include a supercharger.
Just another view of my car
Same...
AC Schnizter 18" Type 3 Wheels on Michelin Pilot Sport 225/40 in the front and 255/35 in the rear.
Here are the trademark M3 seats. The leather is actually very light grey, almost white, but the lighting in the car isnt too good because of the dark window tint I put on.
Here is a view of the AC Schnitzer pedals and shift knob.
BMW M Power. 3.2L Six Cylinder, 240 HP.
K&N intake and ECIS heatshield
This picture shows the custom tweeter pod which was fabricated and installed in the A-Pillar which holds a Diamond HEX tweeter. Also below that is another Diamond HEX tweeter in the stock tweeter location and stock speaker grill. Below that is a 4" Nakamichi midrange also in the stock location. Not seen in this picture is the Diamond HEX 6.5" midrange driver which was installed in the stock kickpanel location.
Eclipse 7002 in the closed position. Guess I forgot to clean off the fingerprints before I took the picture.. oops.
