*UPDATE* Well I've decided to go with a BIG ASS TURBO on the coupe. Check out my homepage at Turbo85Coupe.com for more info and pics.
Here is my baby. She is a 1985 coupe, ex-four cylinder car. I transplanted the 302 and T-5 from my totalled '87 GT. Under the hood with the 302 is a Vortech S-Trim, X303 cam, Anderson power pipe, TFS street heat intake, and a few other usuall bolt ons. Inside is an 8-point roll cage, Summit racing seats (RCI style), no carpet, no accesories, and a ghetto-painted dash that used to be in my '87. Some people would say that it gets cold inside in the winter since heat was never an option! Oh well, that's what they made long johns for!

It dyno-ed at 406.9 rwhp over the summer. This set-up is coming out early 2003 to make room for the 408. I'm looking for 800+ rwhp. Of course there will be a big blower involved, just not sure of that set-up yet.

I live in Denver, CO and am in a local club called StampedeUSA, check it out here,
www.stampedeusa.com.

I haven't put her on the 1/4 mile yet, I mostly run her on the street whenever it's "safe".

*UPDATE* 14 JAN 2003
I have finally started tearing down my '85 coupe. Here are some pics of my first day's progress.
Here is the engine before...

And after day (or night) one...

And of course I had to set my hood on, it's like trying on a new hat!

There will be PLENTY more as I go deeper into it, so keep checking.
*UPDATE* 19 JAN 2003
Night #2 is finally complete! I got the engine and tranny out of the car, but still have a lot to do. And here are some more pics...
Almost ready...

Starting to come out...

Almost...

Another view...

It's out!

What a nasty engine compartment...

Time for bed...

There will be plenty more, because I am far from done. This is just the beginning!
*UPDATE* 25 JAN 2003
I finally got it apart and will have the block into the machine shop by this week.
