THE NEXT YEAR I INSTALLED ANOTHER INSULATOR BUSHING UP FRONT FOR ANOTHER 1/2", AND 1 1/2" BLOCKS IN THE REAR. SO 2 1/2" LIFT IN FRONT AND 3" IN REAR. CUT FRONT FACIA EVEN WITH BUMPER, TO GIVE HER A MORE AGGRESSIVE LOOK TO MATCH THE NEW STANCE. SWAPPED HEADLIGHTS WITH 55/100 WATT H4 LIGHTS. TOOK OFF THE SIDE MOULDING, AND INTALLED A HEAVY DUTY SKID PLATE, ANYONE WHO HAS DRIVEN AN XJ OFFROAD KNOWS HOW EASY IT IS TO GET THE CAP AND ALTERNATOR WET ESPECIALLY ON THE 4.0. I USUALLY HAVE ENOUGH PROBLEMS TO WORRY ABOUT ON THE TRAIL.


DURING AN ESCAPE FROM THIS HOLE I PLACED THE HI-LIFT RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BUMPER, AND BACKED IT OUT WITH A LITTLE COAXING. AS I FIGURED WOULD HAPPEN, THE JACK TILTED FORWARD AND CRACKED THE FIBERGLASS RIGHT BETWEEN THE E'S, AND SLIPPED OFF THE LITTLE BRACE AND SCRATCHED AND DENTED THE UNDERSIDE OF MY BUMPER.

MOUNTED 2 6X9 SPEAKERS IN THE LIFTGATE, PUT 6 1/2" SPEAKERS IN THE FRONT DOORS, POWERED BY A POWERFUL HD RADIO/CD UNIT.
