The old system is comprised of the following components:
1. Pioneer DEX M400 changer controller with tuner pack
2. Pioneer 6 disc changer
3. Audiobahn AEX 200 line driver/3-way x-over and 20 band eq
4. One pair of 1" Audax Tweets
5. One pair of 4" Audax mid
6. Three pairs of 4" midbass drivers that I can't remember who their made by !!
7. 2 MAX Drive single voice coil 10" subwoofers
8. MTX 4160.
9. MTX 2300.
THE CAR
The car for this install is a 1992 Acura Vigor. The car comes from the factory with a very impressive (for it's time) 8 speaker DSP system that includes a centre channel. However, I couldn't leave it alone and so I started down the path of messing with the system in the car. This is the 3rd system in this car that I've built.
In checking the VIN number on this car, it was the 42nd Vigor ever built in Japan in 1991. That makes it one of the very first few Vigors to be built. There never were very many Vigors sold by Acura. They are fairly rare to see, especially in the colors of dark blue and silver.
