Wow, its been way too long since Ive posted an update. Over the past couple months weve been working now and then on finishing the rear half of the truck... and its almost there. My dad rebuilt and painted the rear end and it now carries a Richmond 4.10 gear with a posi unit.

The frame is completely painted now and everything is re-assembled with rebuilt springs, the 4" drop kit, and all new bolts for everything. Heres some pictures of the process:

All painted:

All we need now is a custom driveshaft, brake lines, wiring, and interior... oh and the time to do it all.

The brake lines are done, the new custom driveshaft is in, and shes rollin! We only need the wiring done to make it street legal, but we couldnt resist rollin through the neighborhood at least once. We still have to break in the motor the rest of the way, so we went pretty easy on it, but it seems promising.

I probably would if I was keeping it. But at this point, it's not even safe to drive in rain or cold weather. I'll most likely buy another one the same bodystyle and do what you just said. It should be easy finding a turbo, because I know a guy who managed to fit one on his Saturn from a Cummins Diesel engine.

Oh, I forgot to mention it's had some work done. Aside from the clutch and the disconnected exhaust, it has a little engine work I'm still figuring out. My mother bought it off eBay from a guy that races cars for a living, so it's probably got something we don't know about. It might have been ported and polished for all I know. The point is that it isn't worth tearing down to figure out since we're selling it in a few months and getting a B4C (maybe). By the way, you've got a nice collection of old fox bodies.

But with the Fox body, the elevation might have affected it. But nontheless, he was a car behind until he gave up.

I don't think so. I know the guy. He had Flowmasters and a short throw, and no matter what he tried, he couldn't run faster than a 15.4. The other 5.0 was driven by a guy that weighed 300+ pounds and couldn't drive worth crap.

That video of you launching the truck is damned impressive. 5 stars for damn sure.
