birds4life's 1994 Pontiac Sunbird

Nov 2006: I purchased some new headlight covers to replace the ones that broke. **New PICS on page 5**

Sept 2006: I tinted my tail lights black and it looks really good, I have to get the car washed and then I'll take some pics of the lights. **Pics now on page 4**

Update; Aug 2006: The transformation has begun, I bought a z24 hood and painted a couple pieces black, look on page 4 for the rest of the pics. This picture shows the hood and the grill I painted. I painted it so it would be black all the way across with the headlight covers but they broke and I havn't bought new ones yet. I'm gonna try and buy a Z24 soon to take the rest on the Z24 pieces off to put on mine.

Well my sunbird was recently broken into and they took all my cds and my deck. i had just recently put the sony deck from my firebird in it and they also smashed a brand new pair of sony speakers (not the ones in the pic) probably because they couldnt get them out. they also smashed the passenger side window and screwed up the lock

This is my '94 Pontiac Sunbird, I got it from my cousin for really cheap. It has almost 240k km on it but it runs great. It has the 2.0L 4 banger with a 5 spd tranny. Its pretty quick, a lot quicker than I expected it to be.

Please tell me you didnt use tint on those tailights! You can find tailight covers for the Cavalier LS (92-94 I believe) and they will fit as they are basically the same thing.

I don't know if all the sunbirds are the same.. but your front bumper looks exactly like mine did (aside from the color) and in order for me to put the front on I had to clip off about an inch from the plastic grid/bumper unerneath... I did not have the plastic grid from the Z24. Also the side skirts.. taking off the old from the sunbird was quite a job. (But mine was a convertible might be different from) yours not sure. but in all it was definately worth it and not terribly hard.

you have a nice car to start with. the z24 kit is perty much a bolt on depends on what front bumper you have to switch to the cavy lights liek i did

When I did the tint on my windows it took my about 4 1/2 - 5 hours to completely finish. But I am a perfectionist so that slowed me down... its not as easy as i thought it would be, I have a lot of respect for guys who install this stuff as professionals now.
