Early pic of my '97 Suby Impreza L.... purchased her with a Weapon R intake and generic exhaust canister. Also came with nearly bald tires, cheap Sport Edition Fox V rims, and topped off with a profoundly gay neon green shifter.
*Update* Just installed the Kartboy(All Wheel Engineering)short throw and bushings, and a Subaru Justy linkage spring b/c I broke the original upon install:lol:... so far so good. Wouldn't recommend doing the bushings without a lift!
*Update June 24th 05'... Switched to 10w40(from 10w30) Castrol Syntec oil and Lucas H.D. 80/90 gear oil... tranny is a little smoother now after switching from Valvoline 80w90 to Lucas. Changed front brake pads for Auto-X this weekend to stay in regs.

Finally recieved and installed my RS hood! I actually got it off a MY98 Outback Sport. Oh yeah and now I'm using a 98 Outback sport shift knob (no more gh3y green). Pics soon!
This project is to be a complete conglomeration of Subaru parts... a Frankenstein Impreza if you will... read above and you will see the start of the conversion. Next I will add a 20mm WRX rear sway bar. I am still looking for gold 2.5rs wheels! This cars motorsports purpose is to be used for AUTOX and street snow drifting in the winters.
*My first AutoX was on June 26th 05 and I took 3rd in STS (SCCA) Class with a best time of 49.358 on my fourth of 4 1/2 runs. Ended early DNS on my last three runs due to suspected tranny noise... ended up being low power steering fluid.:rolleyes:

Recently purchased and installed an STi Carbon fiber strut tower bar. Prodrive battery tie down and new front endlinks coming soon.
She's really comin' along....
Just installed my Version II JDM sideskirts this past Saturday, and my Prodrive battery tie down came through last night. Like I said before, this project will be a complete combination of extremely high quality and JDM STi parts. Soon I will add the JDM clear corners and red& clear tail lights. ??? carbon fiber ???? (it's a secret)and a few other secret parts will follow.
Just installed my new front end links last night. That is my girlfriend showcasing them for me. Car feels much smoother and stiffer in the front end now. Great upgrade!
By the way the crappy generic fartcan muffler that came with the car fell of recently so I replaced it with a stock system LOL!
