Jerry's 1979 Mazda RX-7

This baby was bought off the original owner which he restored in 1998. This is a before picture and I will put one in very shortly with my current mods. I can probably brag that is is the cleanest RX-7 in my area. This car was painted by Eurofinish in Virginia Beach to the original color. It is so rich in color and shine that recently a shovel fell off my wall(don't ask me how), hit my car, and only put a little nick about the size of a ball point pen tip. The interior is reupholstered new with new carpet. New Weatherstripping, glass, emblems, and so on. It has a GSL rear end, electronic ignition, headers, 2 and 1/4 inch piping, 6 puck street/strip clutch from clutchnet.com, ported intake, lowered with new springs/shocks by Racing Beat/ Tockico, New complete suspension, etc.
Although the Stereo is not the most jamming in the world compared to my friends, it does have three 10" eclipse subs powered by a Profile Amp, and a Clarion Head unit. The Pioneers in the front and Alpines in the back keep it nice and clear.
I have all paperwork to this car from 1994 on. Unfortunately, Japanese Auto Masters in Virginia Beach purge their records after a certain number of years. I do not have the receipt of the engine, but the previous owner and the shop did acknowledge to me that this car has a third engine replaced under Mazda Factory Warranty. The Previous owner never drove it and kept locking it up. It is estimated to be anywhere from 30,000 to 39,000 miles. I do have the original booklets, brochures, etc. The only thing I don't have is the Dealer Sticker. But I do have the original Rotor Keychain. At one time I tried to sell the car but after all this stuff, I have grown attached to it. I will put bigger pictures as soon as I learn how to do it. I am sure that I forgot a lot of stuff I have done to the car right now but will post them as soon as I can. Happy Rotoring!
