I bought my car back in October of '01 for $5300. It had a newish engine with 2K miles on it and a rebuilt tranny. After having it for just a little while, I had to get a cat h-pipe put on it to have it worked on at shops. After I did that, the car started running really rich and when I had it checked out, I was told all the sensors were bad, so I had to replace all of them. I also got some blue 9mm FRPP wires. Once I got it running well, the tranny started whining. It was cause of bad synchros and the fact that the guy who had the car, put gear oil in the tranny and it burnt up. I had to get a remanufactured T-5 for $800 and put in a Pro 5.0 shifter and Ram clutch at the same time. After that I had clutch problems and yanked the stock cable out to put in a billet quadrant and adj cable.
The theme for my car is red and black. Red interior, black exterior. So far, I've gotten red 5.0 emblems, red bumper inserts. I plan on getting a red shifter boot, red radiator cover, red pulleys, red valve covers, and a red Steeda banner.
