No problem. Actually, what happened was that 1st and Reverse went out. I haven't had the tranny inspected or anything, but I have heard there is a pump in most trannies that control those 2 gears. So, if they are both out, there's a chance you can just replace that pump. I flushed part of the tranny fluid a few months before the tranny went, with Redline synthetic fluid (which I later found out was that if you've never replaced tranny fluid, it's bad to start after a certain mileage). No tranny cooler or anything. What I would have done differently: Added biggest cooler I could find, install Transgo shift kit, POSSIBLY install tranny standalone to control shift points, buy high-performance Torque Converter from LevelX or IPT Trans. Also, almost forgot...I manually shifted my auto (starting from 2nd, then D (O/D off), then D (O/D on)). 1st gear is wayyyy too short, so I wouldn't start in 1st. Shifting at 5-7k rpms daily for the last 2-3 years. :D

Did the whole transmission go out on you? Do you think it was related to the boost, or it had already taken a beating before? I hate to ask so many questions but, Did you have a transmission cooler?

It was never dyno'd, but I ran at the track twice and it was steady at 99mph through the quarter at 7lbs of boost on a GT28RS with no weight reduction. I'm sure there's a way to figure out the whp from that, but I haven't searched. I would guess around 200whp. Now...the original RR motor went due to bad tuning. Once the car was tuned better with the SR20VE-T setup, 2 months later the tranny went.

It's the same on B15Sentra, MySpecV and QG18DE.net (Principle). When it was originally running though, What did you have going? I'm curious because I'm looking to turbo my automatic qg18de, which shares the same transmission as the sr20ve.
