This is the Lotus 340R, only 340 were built. This is car # 4 of the 8 340Rs that were officially imported to the US by LOTUS USA. It was the happiest day when i was told by LOTUS USA that i was going to be one of the lucky 8 to get this awesome track car.
A few days after the car arrived, i know the taz seat covers look out of place, but they fit great and they do the job well.
Close to a year later, my 2000 Viper GTS ACR in the background.
Check out those Semi-slick tires, what other motor company would sell a car with semi-slicks, carbon fiber exhaust on a car that has no doors, top, a/c, stereo or windows....only LOTUS :)

The 340R comes from the factory with a built in trickle charger socket located infront of the gear lever, Lotus knew this car was not going to be driven much, and with the optional race battery "which i have", the battery would not last 2 weeks without the charger, if not started or run.
The 1.8L K series motor. produces more then 100hp/L. 8000 rpm rev limit. Carbon Fiber intake manifold. Resonator Valve was also removed by Lotus (good for a couple more HP)
See through door panels, and cross drilled brakes.
Can you say.....CARBON FIBER. this muffler is the stock muffler.
Soon to be replaced with this high performance Titanium sports exhaust, which weighs 5kg less and adds about 6hp, thats not a bad gain for a car that weighs this much. The cats have also been removed for added HP, they were removed by Lotus from the factory.
