pastoolio's 1997 Ford ThunderbirdAfter having my car for a year and a half, this is what it was looking like in Dec. '03. Cut springs, wheels, and some stereo was in it.

In June of '04, after comming across the website BAGGEDBIRDS.COM, I had the information and some of the knowlege to bag my car. So I started with the rear since that was the easiest to do. I placed an order with SUICIDEDOORS.COM and started on the back.

I get a good amout of travel with the rear bags, and the mounts for the lower arms sit on the ground, as well as scrape the road when driving. I really need to get a skid plate welded on!

pastoolio's 1997 Ford ThunderbirdThis is the view of the rear suspention. I have Airlift 2B6 "2500" bags, and I believe the shock is for an '89 Thunderbird. It is 2" shorter than a shock made for my '97. I needed a shorter shock, as the stock shock will stop the car from laying out by about 2".

pastoolio's 1997 Ford ThunderbirdKaotic "Reactor" 17's. Yeah, they are small wheels for todays standards, but I still love them. Tire size is 215 45R 17

pastoolio's 1997 Ford Thunderbirdsome subwoofers. 150.8 db windows up, mic at the right front windshield, at 46 hz. This box is comming out in the summer of '05, to make way for a newer box with possibly a ported design, it all depends on how much space I'm willing to give up in the trunk.
