pastoolio's 1997 Ford ThunderbirdAfter having my car for a year and a half, this is what it was looking like in Dec. '03. Cut springs, wheels, and some stereo was in it.

In June of '04, after comming across the website BAGGEDBIRDS.COM, I had the information and some of the knowlege to bag my car. So I started with the rear since that was the easiest to do. I placed an order with SUICIDEDOORS.COM and started on the back.

I get a good amout of travel with the rear bags, and the mounts for the lower arms sit on the ground, as well as scrape the road when driving. I really need to get a skid plate welded on!

pastoolio's 1997 Ford ThunderbirdThis is the view of the rear suspention. I have Airlift 2B6 "2500" bags, and I believe the shock is for an '89 Thunderbird. It is 2" shorter than a shock made for my '97. I needed a shorter shock, as the stock shock will stop the car from laying out by about 2".

pastoolio's 1997 Ford ThunderbirdKaotic "Reactor" 17's. Yeah, they are small wheels for todays standards, but I still love them. Tire size is 215 45R 17

pastoolio's 1997 Ford Thunderbirdsome subwoofers. 150.8 db windows up, mic at the right front windshield, at 46 hz. This box is comming out in the summer of '05, to make way for a newer box with possibly a ported design, it all depends on how much space I'm willing to give up in the trunk.

the bird is lookin good you and me are in the same boat lol i ran accross baggedbirds.com a few years back and just now getting to the starting of it so far my ass end is laying on the ground and im pricing out slam specialty bags just waiting to get the cash together to get them and the brackets and i to took out my trunk lock so when you get a chance stop by and look at some of the improvements i have done im still working on it but with no garage now its kinda hard but i dont think anything has turned out too bad for the fact i have done everything outdoors and waited for the perfect time to prime the car and not get dust anywhere until it drys lol only thing im working on trying to figure out is how and where to setup some bump stops so when i let this beast down at a fast rate of speed it will stop within like a half an inch before slamming on my rear bumper and busting up the fiberglass work i did well hollar at me and throw some ideas my way
