Update of the Carbon fibber Gauge, New Sub and new front door install coming soon!!!

My 2001 Navy Blue Bu. This is not a setup for you soundaholics but for you guys who want to bump on occasion without sacrifising your trunk space or your pay check.

First I had to take out that "0" watt deck and replace it with a Pioneer Premier KEH-P780. Its a mighty powerful deck with a fold down tape deck with mini disc and CD capabilities. At first i was dreading the change knowing that in when changing the factory radio i risk having a smaller radio with the traditional crude "flat plat". I was lucky enough to find something that fit perfectly. The elequent compartment at the bottom also has some use. I put some velcro on at the back of my remote and the space now is an extremely handy.

Next step I had to figure out what kinda amp i wanted. Being that the objective here its to conserve space and money i went to ebay in search of a good price. With alot of patience i came out with the Kenwood KAC 818. A mono amp which due to good fortune it fit perfectly. It sucks that i forgot to take pictures when I installed it.

The sub is a 12 inch Xtant A121. In its 1.5 cubic box it makes a bit of noise. Its no match for the Kenwood amp by any stretch of the imagination but i got it for 17 bucks so it can hold me off until i upgrade. Since its a 2 ohm amp its been slightly difficult to find what i want. But i've been looking at the JL W3 what do you think? Oh and what do you think of the MTX's?

Pioneer 6x9's

Premier Pioneer 6 disc changer under the passenger seat.

As far as engine modifications all i've done so far is put a K&N filter on it. it makes a world of difference. i wish i had a better picture for you, this one doesn't do it justice, but this is all i got. it has a nice little chrome finish to it too. The Part # is RC-4760 (yes thats the right #)
