Problematic Passenger Door Wiring
Anyone working on wire routing through doors read this
The M5 Crossover has an attenuated rear fill output which I wanted to use. So I had to run that speaker wire from the doors into the car. At first I thought it would be easy, and running the wire through the driver side door proved that. Easy...
But getting the passenger side one was a nightmare. Here is why.
I took as much apart trying to see the speaker wire, but w/all the stuff in the way, I could tell that I wasn't getting anywhere.
In the end, this is all I had to do. This panel hides fuses and is easily accessible.
The only thing in the way was this wire harness that was bolted down w/a bronze looking screw. My index finger points to the harness.
Once the harness was out of the way, I could stick my hand in there and grab for that wire.
And there ya go. Wire in hand.
This is all I had to do and it would've saved me time, heartache and scuffed knuckles...
I'm sure alot of you who do this procedure will be very happy to see this pix. You can say thank you now...
