Routing Wire

this was the only place i could find to send the 2 awg power wire through the firewall...it wasnt fun at all..the inside of that grommet is very cramped..!!!

Yes, it is hard to see and even harder to run wire through it...if you can even cut it w/something...

Wire loom protecting that hot wire..!

Taking the floor sill off is easy and the wire fits just fine.

There ya go...nice and easy, although my knuckles hurt from new cuts while getting this far!!!

keep it neat and tidy...

Need a good solid grounding point for my amps...

Since I dont have aftermarket radio yet...
I really needed to run some type of remote wire. Well, which wire to use??? Using my trusty MultiMeter, I found this wire that turns on when the car is turned on only. This is next to the fuse panel on the driver side.

The correct wire is black w/yellow stripe at the top left of the connector.

Here is the location next to the fuse panel.

I partially used the factory speaker wires to facilitate the install. I used double shielded cable to make the run as easy as possible and for proper protection.

So now you can see how the speaker wires and remote are all nicely taped up and protected from being pinched by anything.
More to come...

Just a quick fix to my trip to chicago during thanksgiving...then its on to the custom box...
