The Trunk part 2
My new setup as of 3/29/03

Im starting a new box designed by Kicker's techie, Jeremy

its gonna be a ported design with interchangeable ports

This is my great idea...ck out the parts i used, well under $10 and it puts enough pressure on the port that the sealed port application actually seals the box airtight w/out using any type of sealant or gasket at this point.

comparing last year's L7 to this year's..

the surround is alot beefier now

The new sub has a bumped back plate

here is my current layout. i was trying to figure out what to do w/the amps...

a better look at the sub box. notice the bolts on the right. that is a sealed port/plugged port for sq sound. i can swap it out w/any port that i make, so that i can get max spl or sq or daily driver w/vrey low tuned bump...jeje

this is the small amount of space i have to work with between the back of the box and the back seat.

this is my idea...just watch

prepped and ready to mount the amps...

another angle

look at that...nice

the finished product...but i didnt like how high the top amp sat when the seat was in place...so i did this...

and the finished product will be up soon...
The Texas HeatWave Car Show was coming up so I decided to finish my box!
I tuned it to 22hz...!!! The port is 4" diameter and runs 25" long x2 =0) this is in a 4.25cf box!!!

the best thing about this design is that it is still removable...just watch!!!

Bracing is needed to keep it from falling or worse yet, breaking cause of internal pressures. This brace cut makes it compeletely removable :D
