Hi car lovers. My name is Will.Welcome to my Pulsar Page. The featured car is a 1987 Nissan Pulsar nx/se.It has a 1.6L Twin Cam engine with 16V Multi port fuel injectors. The car was a looker when I bought it.I added Chrome wheels to update it a bit,but I wanted a custom look so here we go.Nizzy1's 1987 Nissan Pulsar

See,I told you it looked good.I'm really not into the stock look with shiny wheels,Not to put the look down butI needed to totally customize this car because I love pulsars. This is the begining of a long road.Nizzy1's 1987 Nissan Pulsar

Well this doesn't seem to be the look I'm going for but it has to get worse before it gets better.Nizzy1's 1987 Nissan Pulsar

It looks like it may be ready for the scrap yard, but,I know if your reading this page you probably have an artistic eye for cars and know this car isn't even close to junkyard material. It's simply in the rough stage.
Here it is a step further.I like to call this the baby stage of the car.The car needs to be babied at this stage. The best part about this stage is that all your buddies think there being original when they call it your "Primer Mobile".Do not be fooled by this super sporty stage,The car still shines when it rains!

OK,now its time for paint.HMmmmm,How about Metallic Canadian Blue.Ya,that would be sweet!!Nizzy1's 1987 Nissan Pulsar

I picked out a few colors and my girlfriend said blue would be nice.WELL then blue it is.NEVER argue with the girlfriend!!No really we both decided it suited the little sportster. We then added some accents to break it up a bit.The mirrors and wiper arms were painted white. Then to add a Custom look the white was wrapped around the front bumper and down the bottom of the body.Nizzy1's 1987 Nissan Pulsar

Now its taking shape but the wheels have to be put back on.Nizzy1's 1987 Nissan Pulsar

There that looks better. The gas cap is a nice added touch.Had to have it.I'm sure you understand. It's a guy thing.
Everybody wants to drive!!!Nizzy1's 1987 Nissan Pulsar
Now you can't have a custom little sportster without making a few minor changes to the inside now can you?Well I wanted something bright and catchy so what color would be voted most likly to succeed?
Nizzy1's 1987 Nissan Pulsar

Yellow??Yes yellow.Yellow is sporty and bright. It also gives you that custom feel when you're in the car.How many cars came with yellow interiors in 1987?Well,no Pulsars I'm sure of that.Nizzy1's 1987 Nissan Pulsar
OK,now the door panels look a bit drab so let's have those changed a bit too.Nothing bright though. If the interior is too bright it'll be over done and we don't want that at this point.

Blue with black swirls. The stars even light up with the blacklight.I can't show that off though. My camera isn't that good and it doesn't take the picture good enough to really see it.You'd have to see it for yourself. It's quite impressive though.

The sterio was taken out to put the car up for the winter. It has a good system but sterios are a touchy subject with too many people hating your car because you like something they may not.The brand names are all my favorites though!!If you are thinking about customizing your car then I hope I sparked some ideas for you.Be creative and have fun with it.I know I did!
