My car is a 1990 Mercury Cougar LS and it sucks. BUT. beggars cant be choosers so I have to work with what I got. My goal is an awesome daily driver that is fit for myself. Here is my new TRUE dual exhaust system.

Finaly got a new WORKING cluster in.

Shot of my custom component job. I had to make a custom enclosure because the stock space is a 4x5 speaker so I cut a wooden speaker grill to hold the 6.5" mid. Looks good, sounds better.

Added more matting. I also used expanding foam in all the hollow places of my trunk lid. Then I went over it all with ruberized spray. NO MORE RATTLE worked great.

There u have it.

No seems.

It took a lot of trial and error to get it just right. But as u can see it was totatly worth it.

Lifts up to reveal my 4chnl amp. I also use this space for my tools.

12/19/04 HAHA. Well My kicker amp that has been pushing my mids/highs stoped working. this is an opurtunity to upgrade some stuff. I hope to get a new/better amp and a new head unit. Any recomondations guys?

Sunday, September 21: Long time.. Im going to be working on a lot of other aspects of my car now including shocks, struts. And im getting flow master exauhst. Ill have new pix up sooon. Im also looking for some nice black leather seats for in the front. Please email me if u got somethin.

Saturday, May 17: YAY! Finaly after long weeks I have gotten everything for my car installed. I am not completely finished though this is only a temporary install in the future all the amps and dis block will be flush as well as my box. It took a lot of work to make the box fit, the subs are more like 13's and not 12's so i couldnt line them up like I originaly planed. I had to angle each side and wala! the box is such a tight fit i couldnt get it in with the carpet, no biggie it will all be carpeted in the front part later. I also installed fatmating. it did not do too much i put 2 layers on the trunk lid but it still rattles like madd. O WELL ill probly just get some more and keep pilleing it on.

Friday, May 2:Finaly got all my stuff in the mail! Looks like this stuf is really going to pound! Im also painting my wood trim Dupli chrom aluminum. Looks pretty damn good. Check out the pics on page 4.

Monday, April 28: Back to school... YUCK! Got a diagram of what my box will be. Please vote weather or not I should go sealed or ported! Sealed would be a tuning freq. of 52 Hz and a 3DB down point of 53Hz. and Ported would be a tuning freq. of 36 Hz and a 3DB down point of 36 Hz. PLEASE VOTE FOR WHAT U WOULD DO. Pick of diagram is below as POD pic of day. I also won that kicker amp... Wooho! Picked up a directed distribution block. And some "fatmat extreem" they call this stuff the dynamat alternative and supousedly it is better than dynamat and cost less... Ill let u guys know. Please check out some of the pics i took on page 4.

Sunday, April 27: Well all my most of my stuff has been ordered and will be shipped off UPS ground Monday morning. What is coming? Well 3 12" MA Audio D6 Subs, MA Audio 2582HX amp, and 4awg Phoenix gold amp kit! (pics can be seen on page 2) I am currently looking for a descent 4chnl amp to power my highs and a 2X crossover.
