The car is a blue 2004 Golf R32. Only 200 of these were shipped to Australia
Power for the car is a 180kw V6 which delivers its power via a 6 speed gear box to all four wheels
Power for the stereo starts with a Phoenix Gold heavy duty fuse box. All power wire is 0-Guage Stinger cable and is covered with black split tubing
Head unit is a clarion DVX725 DVD player. Blue and red display nicely matches the standard VW dash. TV tuner and hideaway box are mounted under the drivers seat.
Mounted in the ashtray the remote controller for the clarion crossover allows bass level to be adjusted
In the rear side panel a clarion CD Changer and clarion mini-disc changer provide additional signal sources. A dakota voltage guage is also mounted with two switches for the guage and subwoofer neon

Focal Utopia crossover is mounted to the door trim. All wiring uses soldered crimp connectors. All speaker wiring is by Stinger
Focal Utopia tweeter mounted behind the standard mirror sail provides excellent high range and staging
Focal Utopia 6.5" midrange provide fantastic sound stage at the front. Two Focal 5WS mini subs in the standard rear side panels helps fill out the sound range
Virtually all speakers are hidden behind standard covers (with the obligatory focal badge...)
However the rear fill required its own mounting hole. The rear speaker is an AVI FRM full range - incredible speaker...
Under the false floor in the hatch the clarion crossover can be accessed for tuning. The purple stinger audio cable are also visible. The R32 does not come with a spare tyre but all tools can now be accessed via the hatch
With the hatch cover in place the floor looks stock. The two eclipse amps are visible here. 80 x 4 x 2 = 640w RMS....
Focal 11" sub in a sealed box. Front of the box is made of 20mm perspex. False floor actually has an cutout that the sub box fits in to stop it moving
With the neon inside the box turned on the cool blue matches the car well
