sideoftheroad's 1998 Mercury Mystique

The following pages showcase my ride and my stereo. I hope you enjoy!

I bought my car new on June 4, 1998.
Since then, I've done many modifications to her.
sideoftheroad's 1998 Mercury Mystique Here's what she looked like before...
and after!!! sideoftheroad's 1998 Mercury Mystique

sideoftheroad's 1998 Mercury Mystique She is powered by a 2.5L DOHC V6 mated to a 5 speed manual transmission. Lots of fun to drive. Even more so with what I've done to her. Modifications include SVT computer calibration, 19 lb fuel injectors,NGK Iridium Spark plugs, Accel Performance spark plug wires, extrude honed SVT lower intake Manifold, port matched upper intake manifold, ported and polished SVT 60mm throttle body, custom S&B intake with cold air duct and heat shield, B&M short-throw shifter,Energy Suspension Motor mount inserts,SVT dual exhaust, flow optimized exhaust manifolds, custom high flow "Y" pipe, lightened flywheel,Quaife limited slip differential, ST200 performance struts,H&R lowering sport springs,OMP front strut tower brace, rear strut tower brace,SVT rear sway bar, and poly-urethane rear sway bar bushings. I've also added a set of 18" Enkei RS5's with Yokohama Parada 225/40/18 rubber.

In addition to this, I've dressed her up with a set of SVT sideskirts, SVT rear bumper, 3" slash cut rolled exhaust tips, custom modified the front grille, front splitter, side markers, mesh grilles, and de-badged her.

In my opinion this is the best mystique on this site quality wise, you sure do have talent. im trying to go for the same look with mine, hidden amps, subs, wires etc.I want to have a sub switch look u have. Your whole car is just pure beauty. Im going to try and see if i can do a repeat of what you accomplished.
