Hey, my name is Matt and I'm 20 years old. This is the 1977 ranchero gt brougham that me and my dad built. He bought it for only $2700! It has a 351m and the body is in good shape. This is what we started with. NEW PICS ON PAGE 3. Also, check out my sierra if you get a chance.

This is the engine before any work was done. The igniton was mix matched and home extension cord was used to wire up the electric fuel pump! We changed the carb twice, fuel pump, rotor and cap twice, battery, plug wires, alternator, ignition coil, fuel filter, and a few other things that I cannot think of right now. We'll keep the motor pretty tame for now, unless some more cash comes about. But it does have dual glasspack exhaust and little things. This thing has got quite bit of torque, she spins the tires no problem. I would like to put in some performance parts though.

We gutted the interior because the windshield seal was leaking [later we found the rear seal leaked, and there were holes drilled in the bed directly through to the rear compartment]. We found that like most old cars, the floor boards were rusted out. I grinded down the surface rust along the edges and sprayed rust paint. Me and my dad made temporary floor boards and completely sealed the floor with spray foam so no water comes in. We also got a new windshield.

the seats, belts, trim, and carpet were in the bed cause the garage was crowded

This is how she looks with the replacement bumper. I also cleared the lenses and outlined them with blue. Next on the list is a set of chrome 5 spokes. May,30,2007
