This car was purchased in 1995 by me for $3000 Canadian, and my friends and I then restored it completely. We attempted to restore the V-8, but to no avail. We replaced her with a '67
Cougar engine, a V-8 Overhead cam. This required alot of body work, as the engine had some trouble fitting. After this was accomplished, I had around 400 horses, but i had a but-ugly car. I began to do some bodywork, as the pictures show. My friends and I painted the car in April '96, and athough she was straight as an arrow, and a beautiful colour, it was still shabby on the interior. We painted it candy apple red, and instead of the original seats, we put in '84 5.0 Mustang seats. The side decal was done by Jake Iaquinta, a good friend of mine. After installing a Powerdyne supercharger (not shown in the pics), horsepower went up to 600 horses flat. I bored/stroked it, P&P'd, and gave it an extrude hone, bringing me up to 712 horses, the fastest car i've ever owned. After a Nitrous Oxide system by ZEX, (250 shot) I was around 950 Horses, but i've yet to win a race. Why? because of those skinny tires on there. I can burn out for hours on those things. I am going to get goodyear drag special blue Ribbons, but am kinda strapped on cash right now.
