Here's a pic of the semi-finished product, with just the 800SX installed. I couldn't wait to see that red light bar come on and hear what the subs would sound like back there - I had forgotten the simple pleasures of having some dedicated BASS in the system. Now I have to get used to driving with my rear view mirror vibrating all over again!!!
Dr. Frankenstein, we have a pulse...!
I have been pleasantly surprised to notice that I haven't heard any rattling noises coming from anywhere so far, even after I decided to bridge the amp to the subs. The subs are wired in parallel to each other inside the bandpass enclosure, and I made sure that I lowered the gains on the amp before sending the power through, and I can tell that I'm getting stronger bass response, and the subs seem to be handling the load just fine.

Here's a couple of pics showing the semi-finished product with both the amps installed. I had originally planned to have the smaller amp (640SX) mounted similar to the 800SX, but in the end, I decided that it would be easier to just bolt it down flat.

Everything's working just fine, and I'm glad that I seem to have installed everything properly. I haven't had any problems so far (knock on wood) and I don't foresee any problems coming up. Now that the floor is finally carpeted, I'll have to work on making a cover for the amps, but I'm pretty satisfied with how this project has turned out so far.

Here's a pic of the 5.25" Kenwood KFC-1686s that were mounted in the front doors. You can see that the wood has gotten wet near the bottom, so I'm going to have to coat the new mounting baffles with something to keep them from looking like this.

Here's a photo of the
Audiobahn 6.5" 3-Ways just waiting in the box they were shipped in.
Here's the head unit, finally installed. Stop drooling...
